Day one, Wyevale to Watertown New York

Three H's Eastward bound carrying treasured cargo. Three H's??? Two Harley' s and a Honda. Passengers; Brian and Carolyn Handy, Peter andCheryl Webb.
Left Wyevale about 8:00 am. Arrived Watertown, New York, around 6:3 pm. Everyone safe and sound. Carolyn did a great job for her first long, long distance ride. She had her bike put 110 Km per hour, much to her surprise. She said she thinks it is the fastest she has ever gone.
The most notable thing today was when we saw a huge mother moose and her babies, crossing a farmer's wheat field. She was wasting no time. By the time Brian saw them they were almost at the far side of the field.
We had breakfast in Brechin.
Gassed up on hwy 12 & headed east on argyle rd headed to Lindsay. Cont # 7 , then headed s o Madoc to 401 into Belleville Kingston. Carolyn ran out of gas on 401 & switched to reserve. Filled up at Napanee. Then east on hwy 2 along St. Lawrence river.
It was the perfect bike riding day. It doesn't get any better than this.
We had wine and Ivanhoe cheese that Brian bought along the way along with some crackers before going for dinner at an Irish pub. Back to the room.
Back to the room and we will tuck in for the night. Tomorrow is another day. What will it bring?
